Down 3.76 on Monday night, Aaron came back to nip Lorenzo 124.84 to 121.10. Aaron picked up 21.00 points from the Kansas City Chiefs DEF (7 PA, 5 Sack, 4 Int, 2 Fum). This matchup saw three lead changes, with the largest lead being 22.54 points after Sunday afternoon. With the win, Aaron clinches a spot in the playoffs. Aaron goes to 1-1 this season against Lorenzo, avenging a Week 6 loss (146.72 to 120.82) the last time the teams met. Puka Nacua (acquired via free agency in Week 7) has been a key addition for Aaron, ranking first among wide receivers over the last four weeks. Aaron (8-7, 1,809.84 points) remains in fourth place and Lorenzo (7-8, 1,700.06 points) stays in fifth place.
Both teams had a player that missed out on some opportunities. On Aaron, Courtland Sutton was able to make just three catches, despite being targeted nine times. For Lorenzo, Deebo Samuel Sr. also caught three balls (on seven targets).
In addition to the fantasy victory, Aaron was keen enough to select winners in real football, as well. Each start played on a victorious NFL team in Week 15. Since the Chiefs Defense was the high scorer for Aaron, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 33.72 points, Joe Burrow paced the squad in Week 10, while Breece Hall (31.10 points) was team-leader in Week 11 and Courtland Sutton (29.70 points) led the way in Week 12. Rico Dowdle (21.30 points) was tops in Week 13 and Puka Nacua (41.80 points) led in Week 14.
Aaron is playoff-bound next week.
Dowdle had 25 carries for 149 yards, giving him at least 100 yards on the ground in each of his last three games.
Elliott scored 9.00 points, the 10th-highest score of any K in the league this week.
With 26.60 points (116 Rec Yds, 1 TD), Lamb tallied the sixth-highest score for a WR this week.
Fairbairn went 2-2 on field goal attempts this week, and has now made at least two field goals in each of his last 10 games.
Jackson has thrown for less than 300 yards in each of his last eight games. He tallied 21-25 for 290 yards and five TDs. He has not topped 300 yards through the air since Week 6 versus the Washington Commanders, when he put up 323.
With 4.90 points, Samuel missed his projection of 10.76 this week. It has now been eight weeks in a row that he has failed to reach expectations.
