      Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Golden Rulez Silences The Pinisher, Tacks On 4th Straight Win

Golden Rulez destroyed The Pinisher for the second time this year 173.70 to 103.95. Their overall record moves to 13-2, while The Pinisher drops to 6-9. Lamar Jackson was the top scorer for Golden Rulez, getting 51.00 points this week, almost the same performance as his 49.25 points the last time these teams met. Golden Rulez seems to play their best when they face The Pinisher, who now have a 56.90-point average margin of victory against. In fact, this particular blowout ranks fourth overall in the league this season.

Each side had a starter that missed out on some opportunities. On Golden Rulez, Jauan Jennings was only able to make two catches, despite being targeted nine times. For The Pinisher, Tyreek Hill also only caught two balls (on seven targets).

For the winners, two players have been getting hot at the right time: Mike Evans and Zach Charbonnet. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 59% and 50%, respectively. Conversely, Golden Rulez has a couple of players heading in the opposite direction. Kyle Pitts and Derrick Henry have both fallen significantly short of their year-to-date averages recently. Despite the loss, The Pinisher had several players peaking for the postseason, most notably Isaac Guerendo and the Kansas City Chiefs DEF. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 11.72 and 8.75 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 123% and 62%.

Golden Rulez breezed into the playoffs following a consistently strong regular season. They advance to the semifinals where they face No. 4-seeded The WiseGuys. These teams last met in Week 6, with Golden Rulez winning, 138.25 to 107.25. The Pinisher concluded the regular season in eighth place with a record of 6-8. They also ranked eighth in the league with 115.17 points per game. The Pinisher was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
