The Hess Truck Beats Free Ray Finkle, Climbs to 8th Place
The Hess Truck benefited from 19.00 points from the Minnesota Vikings DEF (17 PA, 1 TD, 3 Sack, 3 Int) and 16.10 from Garrett Wilson (101 Rec Yds, 1 TD) to beat Free Ray Finkle 123.24 to 108.50. A primetime rally during Monday Night Football (35.40 MNF points, 33% of their total score) wasn't enough for Free Ray Finkle. The Hess Truck took a 53.34-point lead on Sunday afternoon and never looked back. Even though these teams are tied for eighth place with matching 2-3 records, Free Ray Finkle has a solid lead in points, 535.78 to 474.30. While both sides performed very well, The Hess Truck scored 31.7% more points than projected (93.56) to pick up the win.
There were two starters that failed to capitalize on opportunities for Free Ray Finkle. Even though Rashid Shaheed and Justin Jefferson saw a total of 23 combined targets, they were able to reel in just 10 catches between them.
