Week 8 Recap: Tuesday Edition

The Hess Truck Beats A Fish Called Saleh, First Career Win Over Them

A Fish Called Saleh had a rough outing this week and lost to The Hess Truck 94.70 to 88.14. The Hess Truck took a 16.46-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. This win was revenge for a loss to A Fish Called Saleh in their last meeting a season ago. A Fish Called Saleh (5-3, 821.48 points) drops to fourth place and The Hess Truck (4-4, 768.72 points) remains in seventh place.

James Conner and Javonte Williams had plenty of chances for The Hess Truck, but they logged just 121 total yards on 43 combined touches between them. There are a couple of spots where A Fish Called Saleh is wishing they could get a do-over, as Joe Burrow could have started in place of Jordan Love and Chris Olave in place of Drake London. Either of those point differentials would've ultimately changed the outcome.

Since Conner was the top point-getter for The Hess Truck, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 19.00 points, the Vikings Defense paced the squad in Week 5, while C.J. Stroud (17.28 points) was tops in Week 6 and Javonte Williams (23.10 points) in Week 7.

In Week 9, The Hess Truck faces Deez Nutz (3-5, 763.26). A Fish Called Saleh takes on Gil Parcells (7-1, 973.88), who sits in first place.
