      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

The Huntsvillain Gets Victory over El ChupacaBrock to Get to Championship

The Huntsvillain moves to 2-0 on the year versus El ChupacaBrock with a 140.13 to 133.80 victory. Their overall record goes to 14-2, while El ChupacaBrock falls to 8-8. The historical series between these two teams has been relatively tight with The Huntsvillain owning the 2-1 lead over El ChupacaBrock. Saquon Barkley rushed for 150 yards and was the reason for the win, garnering 27.00 points for The Huntsvillain. Barkley has lived up to his draft position for The Huntsvillain, contributing a magnificent 22.49 points per game.

Brian Robinson had plenty of chances for The Huntsvillain, but he logged just 41 total yards on 12 touches. One slot where El ChupacaBrock really made a painful call is WR. Jalen McMillan could have started in place of Cooper Kupp, and that point difference would've been enough to win.

The Huntsvillain was on a different level in the backfield, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall RBs this week.

For the victorious side, a pair of players have been getting hot in the playoffs: James Conner and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. During the playoffs, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 78% and 36%, respectively. Conversely, The Huntsvillain has a few players moving in the wrong direction. Chris Boswell and Brian Robinson have both substantially underperformed their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, El ChupacaBrock had several players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Jonathan Taylor and Jayden Daniels. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 25.45 and 28.41 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 83% and 47%. On the other hand, the losers had a couple of players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Kupp and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers DEF.

Next week, the league championship will be decided when The Huntsvillain matches up against No. 2-seeded Maximum Effort. The Huntsvillain is undefeated against Maximum Effort in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 10. El ChupacaBrock wrapped up the regular season with a record of 7-7, good for fifth place. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly worse (sixth with 114.80). In their only other postseason game of the season, El ChupacaBrock defeated Personal Fouls, 129.33 to 118.07.
