Motor City Kitties Pounds Steel Curtain to Get to Semifinals
Motor City Kitties (11-4, 2,610.00 points) recorded the highest score of the season to put a drubbing on Steel Curtain (9-6, 2,236.50 points) 247.50 to 163.00 in a seesaw matchup. Motor City Kitties came into the Sunday games already in front 12.00 to 10.50. That advantage slipped away after the early Sunday games and they trailed by 4.50. However, following the late Sunday games, Motor City Kitties reclaimed the lead and took home the victory.
Pollard had plenty of opportunities for Steel Curtain, but could only manage 45 total yards on 17 touches.
For the winning side, a few players have been peaking at the right time, most notably Nik Bonitto and Josh Jacobs. Over the past month, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 106% and 40%, respectively. Despite the loss, Steel Curtain had a pair of players peaking for the postseason: Isaac Guerendo and Mike Evans.
