Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Golden Knutz Gets Win over Team Bruiser to Get into Consolation Championship

Golden Knutz took down Team Bruiser 152.38 to 111.74 and registered the third-highest score of the season. This win was revenge for a loss to Team Bruiser in their last meeting a season ago. Golden Knutz, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 104.55 per game average by 46%.

For the winners, a few players have been playing their best at the right time, including the Cincinnati Bengals DEF and Brian Thomas Jr. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 165% and 58%, respectively. Despite the loss, Team Bruiser had two players performing their best in the playoffs: the Baltimore Ravens DEF and Chuba Hubbard. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 10.00 and 19.70 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 100% and 39%. Conversely, the losers had several players who struggled in the playoff spotlight, most notably Joe Mixon and David Njoku.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Golden Knutz battles No. 3-seeded Boss Hogg Conglomerate. These teams most recently clashed in Week 9, with Boss Hogg Conglomerate winning, 128.68 to 89.24.
