      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Blue Magic Beats EZX Tornadoes to Get into Championship

Blue Magic stays undefeated on the year in two matchups against EZX Tornadoes with a 155.15 to 148.25 victory. Their overall record goes to 13-2, while EZX Tornadoes falls to 9-7. EZX Tornadoes just does not match up to Blue Magic, who pushed their career unbeaten streak to three games. EZX Tornadoes isn't an easy win for Blue Magic, whose a 7.67-point average margin of victory against EZX Tornadoes is half of their typical margin of victory. De'Von Achane (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the reason for the win, putting up 37.00 points. Following the exceptional performance, the Miami RB has elevated into the top five for running backs, contributing 18.80 points per game.

A spot where EZX Tornadoes is really kicking themselves is WR. Calvin Ridley could have started in place of Jerry Jeudy, and that point difference would've swayed the outcome.

For the winning team, a few players have been hitting their strides at the right time, including Brian Thomas Jr. and Terry McLaurin. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 64% and 38%, respectively. Conversely, Blue Magic has a player trending in the wrong direction. Breece Hall has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average recently. Despite the playoff loss, Mike Evans was doing his best for EZX Tornadoes. During the postseason, he has averaged 26.90 points, topping his year-to-date number by 57%.

Blue Magic steamrolled into the playoffs following a dominating wire-to-wire regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Blue Magic goes up against No. 2-seeded Barnyard Pimps. Blue Magic is undefeated against Barnyard Pimps in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 13. EZX Tornadoes finished the regular season in fourth place with a record of 8-6. Better than their record indicated, they ranked first in the league in points per game with 135.69. In their only other postseason game of the season, EZX Tornadoes defeated 22, 183.00 to 149.55. They delivered their fair share of epic beatdowns this year, as they registered four blowout victories on the season.
