      Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Led by a Big Game from Lamar Jackson, EZX Tornadoes Is Headed to Semifinals

The production of Lamar Jackson paved the way, as EZX Tornadoes picked up a win against 22 183.00 to 149.55. Jackson heated up for 51.00 points in a 33.45-point win for EZX Tornadoes. He passed for five touchdowns as part of his showcase performance (290 Pas Yds, 65 Rsh Yds, 5 TD). He also recorded the third-highest point total in the league this week. With 183.00 points, EZX Tornadoes had the second-highest total in the league this season. Adding insult to injury, 22 had a starter score zero points (Cooper Kupp).

There was one important starter on EZX Tornadoes that missed out on some chances. Even though Jauan Jennings saw a total of nine targets, he only reeled in two catches.

For the winners, a few players have been playing their best at the right time, including Jerry Jeudy and Mike Evans. Over the past four weeks, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 76% and 59%, respectively. Despite the loss, 22 had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: the Denver Broncos DEF and Chase Brown. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 16.50 and 22.22 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 58% and 41%. On the other hand, the losers had several players who were fading down the stretch, most notably Cade Otton and Derrick Henry.

Using a strong second half, EZX Tornadoes qualified for the playoffs as the No. 4 seed. They move on to the semifinals where they meet top-seeded Blue Magic, who is coming off a bye week. Blue Magic is riding a nine-game winning streak. 22 concluded the regular season in fifth place with a record of 6-8. Catching some unlucky breaks, they ranked second in the league in points per game with 136.07. 22 was sent home quickly this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup. They dished out their fair share of pain this year, as they racked up four blowout victories on the season.
