RCBP Beats RobFromSurprise, Tacks On 5th Straight Win
RCBP stays unbeaten against RobFromSurprise with a 168.80 to 154.30 win. Their overall record goes to 9-6, while RobFromSurprise falls to 8-7. Jared Goff passed for five touchdowns and was the difference this week, putting up 64.00 points. The Detroit QB has been a top performer throughout the season and, after his latest performance, he shifted into the top five overall in fantasy points. The gap could have been wider as RCBP had a starter score zero points (Cooper Kupp).
It wasn't all bad news for RobFromSurprise, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Adam Thielen played on a winning NFL team in Week 15.
For the winning side, a pair of players have been warming up at the right time: the Denver Broncos DEF and Goff. Over the past month, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 58% and 31%, respectively. Conversely, RCBP has two players moving in the wrong direction. Kupp and DK Metcalf have both substantially underperformed their year-to-date averages recently. Despite the playoff loss, Chase Brown was playing well during the stretch run for RobFromSurprise. Over the last four games, he has averaged 22.22 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 41%.
