Spearheaded by the triple threat of Tee Higgins, Lamar Jackson, and Adam Thielen, RobFromSurprise picked up a win against Whitetank Warriors 216.80 to 172.95. That threesome combined to score 114.20 points, clearly outperforming the top scorers from Whitetank Warriors (Justin Herbert, Ladd McConkey, and Bucky Irving), who totaled 92.65 points. Higgins scored three touchdowns, adding 43.10 points (131 Rec Yds, 3 TD). Thielen delivered two touchdowns to contribute 33.00 points (110 Rec Yds, 2 TD), while Jackson helped out with 38.10 points (168 Pas Yds, 87 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD). RobFromSurprise took a 20.85-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. This win was revenge for a loss to Whitetank Warriors in their last meeting a season ago. RobFromSurprise, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 147.67 per game average by 47%.
For the victors, several players have been postseason stars, including the Baltimore Ravens DEF and Higgins. During the playoffs, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 110% and 77%, respectively. On the other hand, RobFromSurprise has a player trending the opposite way. Saquon Barkley has fallen well beneath his year-to-date average in the postseason by 38%. Despite the loss, Whitetank Warriors also had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably McConkey and Zach Ertz. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 24.10 and 14.85 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 64% and 63%. Conversely, the losers had a couple of players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Breece Hall and Nico Collins.
