      Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

IDNATIUS Beats Whitetank Warriors, Advances to Semifinals

James Conner scored two touchdowns (33.80 points) and Joe Burrow threw for three touchdowns (25.55 points) as IDNATIUS beat Whitetank Warriors 139.35 to 119.95. IDNATIUS got the best of Whitetank Warriors again in the playoffs. In the teams' previous postseason tilt, IDNATIUS reigned supreme in the semifinals in 2023. Whitetank Warriors was led by Justin Herbert with 19.75 points (195 Pas Yds, 2 TD/1 Int) and Puka Nacua, who scored 17.80 (97 Rec Yds). The margin could have been bigger as IDNATIUS had a starter score zero points (Amari Cooper).

There was one fairly important player on IDNATIUS that missed out on some opportunities. Even though Tyreek Hill saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.

For the victorious side, a pair of players have been getting hot at the right time: the Kansas City Chiefs DEF and Sam LaPorta. Over the past four games, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 62% and 39%, respectively. Conversely, IDNATIUS has two players trending in the wrong direction. Jonathan Taylor and Amari Cooper have both substantially underperformed their year-to-date averages recently. Despite the playoff loss, Bucky Irving was playing well during the stretch run for Whitetank Warriors. Over the last four games, he has averaged 19.20 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 41%.

IDNATIUS marches on to the semifinals where they meet No. 2-seeded Horned Ninjas, who is coming off a bye week. IDNATIUS is winless against Horned Ninjas in two matchups this season, with their most recent loss coming in Week 14. Whitetank Warriors wrapped up the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-7. Catching some unlucky breaks, they ranked third in the league in points per game with 126.85. Whitetank Warriors was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
