Black Sheep Comes Back to Nip Suspension Freaks XL to Grab 6th Place
In an epic battle between this week's second and third-highest-scoring teams, Black Sheep came back from a 25.50-point deficit on Monday night to sneak by Suspension Freaks XL 279.00 to 277.50. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. The loss drops Suspension Freaks XL to 9th (6-7) in the standings. The total number of points was a bit surprising given that Black Sheep was only expected to score 168.00 points and Suspension Freaks XL was projected to score 141.00 points. DeMarvion Overshown (1 Int, 1 TD, 1 Fum, 5 Tack, 4 Ast) registered 42.00 points and Sam Darnold (235 Pas Yds, 2 TD) scored 33.00 points, exceeding their projections by 425.0% and 175.0%, respectively. Russell Wilson (414 Pas Yds, 3 TD/1 Int) put up the highest score of the week (77.00) and Zack Baun scored 38.50 points for Suspension Freaks XL. The result might have been even worse, as Black Sheep had two starters who didn't score.
Christian McCaffrey probably deserved more touches for Suspension Freaks XL, as he put up a whopping 67 total yards on just nine touches.
