Flamin Hot Cheetahs Rallies to Beat Bear Down to Bring Series Record to 2-0

In a shootout between the two highest-scoring teams of the week, Flamin Hot Cheetahs came back to beat Bear Down 179.64 to 158.58. This is the first time this season a team has scored this many points and not picked up the win. Bear Down falls to 5-6 (6th place), pushing their losing streak to three. Flamin Hot Cheetahs (8-3) is in first place and has the second-highest points per game average at 134.66. However, the final score was tough to predict given that Flamin Hot Cheetahs was only projected to score 123.40 points and Bear Down was expected to score 112.34 points. Joe Mixon (109 Rsh Yds, 44 Rec Yds, 3 TD) registered the third-highest point total in the league this week (35.30) and Ja'Marr Chase scored 26.50 points to lead Flamin Hot Cheetahs. That pair topped their scoring projections by 88.6% and 88.4%, respectively.

There was one starter on Bear Down that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Despite being targeted seven times, Drake London could manage just three catches.

While Davante Adams led Flamin Hot Cheetahs in Week 9 (with 22.10 points) and Ja'Marr Chase in Week 10 (55.40 points), Mixon has now been the team's leading point-getter twice in the past four weeks.
