Flamin Hot Cheetahs took an 11.60-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Flamin Hot Cheetahs gets revenge for a Week 9 loss (136.52 to 108.50) and improves to 1-1 this season against Brockton Blockbusters. Brockton Blockbusters was led by Jason Sanders with 19.00 points and George Kittle, who scored 18.60 (106 Rec Yds).

Rico Dowdle and Isiah Pacheco had plenty of chances for Brockton Blockbusters, but they logged just 77 total yards on 26 combined touches between them.

For the winners, several players have been getting hot at the right time, including the Atlanta D and Davante Adams. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 176% and 94%, respectively. Despite the loss, Brockton Blockbusters also had a pair of players peaking for the postseason: Isiah Pacheco and Terry McLaurin. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 5.80 and 22.95 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 57% and 40%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was fading down the stretch. Breece Hall has dipped below his yearly average by 43% over the past month.

Flamin Hot Cheetahs grabbed the No. 2 seed, powered by a fast start to the season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Flamin Hot Cheetahs battles No. 4-seeded WaiverWireGod. Flamin Hot Cheetahs is undefeated against WaiverWireGod in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 14. Brockton Blockbusters wrapped up the regular season in third place with a record of 9-6. Perhaps benefiting from some good fortune, they ranked just eighth in the league in scoring average at 114.48 points per game. Brockton Blockbusters was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
