Cali Cadre Picks Up Victory over Winnow, Gets Redemption
Cali Cadre put up the seventh-highest point total this season and took down Winnow 154.86 to 135.10. This matchup included three lead changes, with the largest lead being the final margin. Cali Cadre goes to 1-1 this season against Winnow, avenging a Week 6 close loss (132.72 to 128.92) the last time the teams met. To make matters worse, Winnow received no points from Cooper Kupp. Cali Cadre (10-5, 1,844.22 points) remains in second place and Winnow (first place, 11-4, 2,178.82 points) earns a playoff berth despite the loss.
Alvin Kamara really deserved more touches for Winnow, as he put up a whopping 70 total yards on just nine touches.
It wasn't all bad news for Winnow, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Alvin Kamara played on a winning NFL team this past week. Goff has now led Cali Cadre in scoring in back-to-back weeks.
As the regular season comes to a close, both Cali Cadre and Winnow can now set their sights on a playoff run.
