Around The League
- Cali Cadre continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score seven weeks in a row.
- AKo1904 has now beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
- Lee has now beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
- AKo1904 couldn't beat Winnow despite starting the league's top-scoring QB (Burrow with 36.98 points) and the top-scoring RB (Taylor with 27.60) this week.
- No surprise here: teams have won 91.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (11-1 overall).
- Maybe Next Time probably wishes they had started Malik Nabers. The 36.10 points he scored would have represented the third-highest individual score this week.
- Michael has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.
- Teams that had a top-5 scoring RB this week only went 1-2 overall.

Winnow edged AKo1904 147.82 to 146.78 to improve their season record to 3-0 against them. They improve to 13-4, while AKo1904 drops to 10-7. Trey McBride (123 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the difference this week, putting up 30.30 points for Winnow. McBride has been a quality fourth-round pick for Winnow and has played like a top-tier tight end. Winnow now has a 24.85-point average margin of victory over AKo1904 in three matchups.
AKo1904 had one important player that left points out on the field. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.
It wasn't all bad news for AKo1904, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Jonathan Taylor suited up on a victorious NFL team in Week 17. Additionally, with 33 touches this week for Saquon Barkley, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.
For the victorious side, two players have been playoff studs : Justin Jefferson and McBride. During the playoffs, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 38% and 32%, respectively. Conversely, Winnow has a player trending the opposite way. Cooper Kupp has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average in the postseason by 59%. Despite the loss, AKo1904 had several players performing their best in the playoffs, including Taylor and Zach Ertz. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 33.70 and 13.70 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 163% and 50%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 16.41 points on the season, Terry McLaurin mustered just 9.25 per game in the playoffs.
Winnow finished the regular season in first place with a record of 11-4. They also ranked first in the league with 145.25 points per game.
