      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

With Their Top Guns Doing the Heavy Lifting, Winnow Squashes Maybe Next Time

The triumvirate of Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara, and Lamar Jackson led the charge, as Winnow dismantled Maybe Next Time 169.38 to 100.18. That threesome combined to tally 84.00 points, winning the battle against Rhamondre Stevenson, Malik Nabers, and Kenneth Walker III (51.00 combined points), the top three on Maybe Next Time. Barkley rushed for 159 yards, adding 32.90 points (159 Rsh Yds, 40 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD). Meanwhile, Kamara put up 155 rushing yards (27.50 points) and Jackson passed for three touchdowns (23.60 points). Also, Barkley recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week. Winnow had the top score in the league this year, as well as the biggest margin of victory. Winnow (9-0, 1,309.04 points) remains in first place, while Maybe Next Time (2-7, 979.86 points) stays in ninth place.

Winnow was ahead of the curve in the backfield, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall RBs this week (including Barkley, who was second-best overall). Since Barkley was the top point-getter for Winnow, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 35.50 points, Chris Godwin paced the squad in Week 6, while Lamar Jackson (34.44 points) was tops in Week 7 and Josh Jacobs (25.50 points) in Week 8. In addition to the fantasy victory, Winnow was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Kamara was the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 9.

Next week, Winnow faces the last-place team in the league, Russ szn (2-7, 892.82). Maybe Next Time takes on AKo1904 (5-4, 1,096.44), who is averaging an impressive 121.83 points per game.
