      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Phat Boy Comes from Behind to Edge CPFan, Celebrates League Championship

Phat Boy snuck past CPFan 155.12 to 152.68, improving to 2-0 against CPFan. Their overall record goes to 15-2, while CPFan drops to 11-6. CPFan has been a tough matchup for Phat Boy, who now has an average margin of victory of 7.96 points in the series, much smaller than their season average. Mike Evans scored two touchdowns and was the winning factor this week, garnering 29.70 points. Evans has lived up to his draft position for Phat Boy, putting up 17.12 points per game.

De'Von Achane had plenty of chances for Phat Boy, but he logged just 38 total yards on 12 touches.

In addition to the fantasy W, Phat Boy was keen enough to select winners in real football, as well. Each of their starters suited up for a winning NFL team this past week.

For the victorious side, several players have been getting hot in the playoffs, including the Miami Dolphins DEF and Evans. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 99% and 62%, respectively. Despite the loss, CPFan had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Brian Thomas Jr. and Joe Burrow. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 26.05 and 29.48 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 61% and 37%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 11.53 points on the season, Chris Boswell mustered just 5.50 per game in the playoffs.

Phat Boy wrapped up the regular season in first place with a record of 13-2. They also ranked first in the league with 143.73 points per game. In their only other postseason game on their trail to the title, Phat Boy took down Miller Time, 175.28 to 147.24. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outpacing opponents by 28.52 points per game. CPFan finished the regular season in second place with a record of 10-5. They also ranked second in the league with 132.25 points per game. In their only other postseason game of the season, CPFan defeated Ryan, 142.54 to 106.44. They passed out their fair share of big losses this year, as they tallied four blowout victories on the season.
