      Around The League
      • Ryan continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score six weeks in a row.
      • Fish Food won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
      • Fish Food has now increased their score each of the past three weeks.
      • Jaxon Smith-Njigba was left on Ryan's bench this week. His 37.00 points would have been the highest individual amount in the league.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 66.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (4-2 overall).
      • Phat Boy is on a five-game winning streak.
      • Grid iron fury has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.

      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

CPFan Snatches Win from Maulers, Extends Their Losing Streak

CPFan got 22.12 points from Geno Smith (363 Pas Yds, 3 TD/3 Int) and 22.00 from Travis Kelce (100 Rec Yds), defeating Maulers 131.42 to 125.68. CPFan came into the Monday night game facing a 10.26-point deficit, but scored 22.00 for the comeback victory. Maulers has now dropped three straight. Maulers was led by Derrick Henry with 26.30 points (106 Rsh Yds, 27 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and Kirk Cousins, who scored 17.78 (222 Pas Yds, 3 TD). The gap could have been wider as CPFan had a starter score zero points (Chris Boswell). Maulers (3-6, 996.40 points) drops to eighth place and CPFan (5-4, 1,158.22 points) remains in fourth place.

There was one player on Maulers that missed out on some opportunities. Even though DJ Moore saw a total of nine targets, he reeled in just four catches.

Remarkably, CPFan maintains its season-long streak of seeing a different player lead the team in scoring.

Next week, CPFan meets Fish Food (3-6, 1,006.46). Maulers squares off against Miller Time (4-5, 1,034.88).
