Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Weekend Warriors Beats Los Flacos II, Nabs 1st Place

Weekend Warriors beat Los Flacos II 139.94 to 109.06 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 12-3, while Los Flacos II drops to 7-8. Chase Brown scored two touchdowns and led the effort this week, garnering 26.30 points for Weekend Warriors. After his phenomenal outing, Brown has become a top-10 running back on the year, averaging 16.29 points per game.

There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but left some points out on the field. On the winning side, Joe Mixon got 17 touches but only tallied 56 total yards, while Tyrone Tracy Jr. managed just 35 yards on 11 touches for Los Flacos II.

In addition to the fantasy victory, Weekend Warriors was savvy enough to choose winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Jonnu Smith was the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 15. Since Brown was the high scorer for Weekend Warriors, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the past six weeks. With 29.40 points, Bijan Robinson paced the squad in Week 10, while Joe Mixon (35.30 points) was team-leader in Week 11 and Jonnu Smith (23.70 points) led the way in Week 12. Jayden Daniels (27.64 points) was tops in Week 13 and Puka Nacua (41.80 points) led last week.

As the regular season comes to a close, Weekend Warriors can now set their sights on a playoff run.
