Smash Mouth 1 Beats Jefferson Chiefs, Climbs to 5th Place
Smash Mouth 1 beat Jefferson Chiefs 125.34 to 92.84 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 8-7, while Jefferson Chiefs drops to 5-10. A.J. Brown (110 Rec Yds, 1 TD) got 25.00 points, which was nearly the same contribution as his 23.60 points in the last matchup with Jefferson Chiefs. The gap could have been wider as Smash Mouth 1 had a starter score zero points (David Njoku).
Jefferson Chiefs had one important starter who wasn't fully in tune with his QB. Even though Tyreek Hill saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.
Since Brown was the high scorer for Smash Mouth 1, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks.
