      Ford (ankle) is atop the depth chart at running back, but that could change given the Browns' selection of Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Zac Jackson and Lauren Smith of The Athletic report.

      Analysis: Ford enters the final year of his rookie deal and has been a competent complementary player behind Nick Chubb the last three seasons. Drafting Judkins suggests the team will not bring Chubb back, and the rookie Buckeyes running back is talented enough to earn carries immediately. At the very least, Judkins will be part of the backfield from Day 1 and could take over as the primary back early in the season -- the same path Chubb took to become one of the game's best backs prior to a serious knee injury in 2023. Think of Ford as atop the depth chart with an asterisk.

      The Browns' selection of Carson Schwesinger with the 33rd overall pick in the NFL Draft suggests the club does not expect Owusu-Koramoah (neck) to be available to play in 2025, Zac Jackson and RJ Kraft of The Athletic report.

      Analysis: Given multiple needs on offense, that the Browns took a linebacker this high in the draft potentially means Owusu-Koramoah is not expected back following a serious neck injury. There has been little update on his prognosis during the offseason. Following the selection of Schwesinger, the Browns addressed needs at tight end, running back and quarterback through the draft already.

      The Bears are looking forward to using both Kmet and first-round draft choice Colston Loveland in two tight-end sets, " Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com reports.

      Analysis: In 2024, Kmet recorded 47 receptions for 474 yards and four touchdowns on 55 targets, marking his least productive season since his rookie year in 2020. After playing 87 percent of the offensive snaps last season, Kmet now faces significant competition following the first-round selection of Loveland, whose arrival could sharply reduce his role. Although Loveland is expected to be an adequate blocker, the Bears likely drafted the former Michigan standout for his ability to create mismatches in the passing game. Unless the situation shifts during training camp, Kmet may go undrafted in the majority of fantasy leagues.
