      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Summer Steals Win from FIRST or LAST, Drops Them into 3rd Place

Summer took advantage of 29.14 points from Joe Burrow (251 Pas Yds, 5 TD/1 Int) and 19.80 from Darnell Mooney (88 Rec Yds, 1 TD), defeating FIRST or LAST 108.34 to 98.16. Summer came into the Sunday night game facing a 2.42-point deficit, but scored 11.00 for the comeback victory. This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands three times, with the largest lead being 38.18 points after Sunday afternoon. While each team fell short of hitting their projections, Summer scored 94.4% of their projected 114.76 points to get the win. To make matters worse, FIRST or LAST received no points from Isaiah Likely. FIRST or LAST (6-3, 1,042.04 points) drops to third place and Summer (3-6, 962.62 points) remains in ninth place.

Since Burrow was the top point-getter for Summer, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 23.60 points, A.J. Brown paced the squad in Week 6, while David Njoku (23.60 points) was tops in Week 7 and James Cook (28.30 points) last week.

Next week, Summer will match up against Mowbray Misanthropes (5-4, 1,149.50). FIRST or LAST gets Tua Touchdown (6-3, 1,140.40).
