Around The League
- Josh has now started the season on a five-game winning streak.
- Desert Diablos won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
- Terry Teams has now beaten their weekly score projection in each matchup this season.
- Desert Diablos continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
- Ilze has now beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
- No surprise here: teams have won 66.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (2-1 overall).
- Desert Diablos probably wishes they had started Kirk Cousins. The 34.36 points he scored would have represented the second-highest individual score this week.
- Unfortunately, Conner Cannons fell short of their projected score for the fourth straight week.
Week 5 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Desert Diablos got past Ilze 137.64 to 115.68 and got the second-highest point total in the league this week. Desert Diablos scored 17.5% more than projected in this matchup and has beaten expectations three weeks in a row. Joe Burrow brought in the third-highest score of the league this week with 33.78 points (392 Pas Yds, 5 TD/1 Int) for Ilze. Desert Diablos (2-3, 638.40 points) climbs into sixth place and Ilze (3-2, 560.70 points) drops to fourth place.
There was one rather noticeable starter on Desert Diablos that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Even though Marvin Harrison Jr. saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.
Desert Diablos was on a different level with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall WRs this week.
Next week, Desert Diablos meets Conner Cannons (1-4, 470.80), the last-place team in the league. Ilze takes on Nightghost (2-3, 537.14).
