Blackjack Beats FLY EAGLES FLY and Remains Unbeaten in Head-to-Head Play
Blackjack defeated FLY EAGLES FLY 132.98 to 119.76 to remain undefeated against them, and in the process, clinch a playoff spot. Their overall record goes to 11-1, while FLY EAGLES FLY drops to 6-6. FLY EAGLES FLY isn't an easy win for Blackjack, who now has an average margin of victory of 14.98 points this season in the series. That's much smaller than their 39.98-point average margin of victory on the season, which ranks first in the league. Trey McBride (133 Rec Yds) was the difference this week, putting up 25.30 points. McBride has turned out to be a solid fifth-round grab for Blackjack and has played like a top-tier tight end.
Joe Mixon had plenty of chances for Blackjack, but he logged just 45 total yards on 19 touches.
Since McBride was the top point-getter for Blackjack, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 30.00 points, Garrett Wilson paced the squad in Week 9, while Lamar Jackson (32.90 points) was tops in Week 10 and Joe Mixon (35.30 points) in Week 11.
Blackjack will have to step up their game next week when they go up against Pink Prowlers (8-4, 1,540.68), who averages a solid 128.39 points per game. FLY EAGLES FLY takes on All Stars V2 (7-5, 1,437.34).
