      Week 14 Recap: Tuesday Edition

CTNiners Gets Victory Against Blackjack, Gets Redemption

CTNiners (5-9, 1,580.68 points) defeated Blackjack (12-2, 1,978.56 points) 151.90 to 141.86 in a matchup with three lead changes. They also put up the second-highest score for the week. CTNiners was first to put points on the board and went into Sunday with a 19.40 to 0.00 lead. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 45.60. CTNiners took the lead back during Sunday's late afternoon games and held on for the victory.

Checking deeper into the match, Blackjack can ultimately blame their choice at wideout, Tee Higgins. Higgins was projected to score 16.26 points, wound up with 4.30, and that difference was enough for CTNiners to capitalize.

CTNiners lucked out that Blackjack's top QB was off this week, since Caleb Williams only tallied 14.06 points. If Lamar Jackson (24.72 points per game this year) had played and scored his per-game average, CTNiners would've been beaten by 0.62 points. Since Charbonnet was the high scorer for CTNiners, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 21.58 points, Justin Jefferson paced the squad in Week 9, while Brock Purdy (23.82 points) was team-leader in Week 10 and David Montgomery (24.50 points) led the way in Week 11. A.J. Brown (22.90 points) was tops in Week 12 and Mark Andrews (18.90 points) led in Week 13.

CTNiners matches up against All Stars V2 (8-6, 1,672.48) in Week 15. Blackjack will take on Oh Saquon can you see (7-7, 1,670.76).
