Robinson agreed to a contract with the Chiefs on Friday, Ed Easton Jr. of USA Today Chiefs Wire reports.

Analysis: Robinson has appeared in 16 career regular-season games for the Raiders, recording 1.5 sacks among his 13 tackles (seven solo). The 6-foot-5 defensive end will compete for a roster spot in camp with the Chiefs. Robinson was suspended for the final three games of the 2024 season for violating the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy, but he has finished serving that suspension.

Jones (concussion) announced his retirement from pro football on social media Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis: The sixth overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft, Jones spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Falcons, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards seven times and earning a pair of first-team All-Pro nods during that span. Overall, Jones' 13,703 career receiving yards rank 16th in NFL history, and the rest of his resume suggests a strong case for the Pro Football Hall of Fame at some point.

Lance and the Chargers reached agreement on a one-year deal Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: Per Schefter, Lance's one-year pact with Los Angles is worth up to $6.2 million. Lance -- who the 49ers took with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft -- joins Taylor Heinicke in the team's backup QB mix behind undisputed starter Justin Herbert. The 24-year-old spent the last two seasons with Dallas, where he worked behind Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush.
