The Dawg Pound Beats Steel Curtain for 5th Straight Win
The Dawg Pound put up the highest point total they've scored this season and beat Steel Curtain 191.00 to 135.00. The Dawg Pound took a 15.50-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. This win was revenge for a loss to Steel Curtain in their last meeting a season ago. The Dawg Pound (6-6, 1,793.00 points) climbs into seventh place and Steel Curtain (8-4, 1,753.50 points) stays in fifth place.
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but missed out on opportunities. On the Steel Curtain, Najee Harris got 18 touches but only tallied 54 total yards, while Austin Ekeler was even less effective, managing just 24 yards on 11 touches for The Dawg Pound.
