The Dawg Pound Tops Chargers, Rises to 10th Place
Each team saved their best for prime time in what turned out to be a 181.50 to 158.50 The Dawg Pound victory. The Dawg Pound put up a great Sunday night with 74.00 points on SNF (41% of their total score) and Chargers put up a not-too-shabby Monday of their own with 65.00 points on MNF (41% of their score). The late production was pretty incredible, as the original projections called for The Dawg Pound to have only 32.00 points on Sunday night, while Chargers was forecasted for just 36.00 MNF points. The Dawg Pound was led by Sam Darnold this week (290 Pas Yds, 3 TD/2 Int). Darnold passed for three touchdowns and provided 43.00 points to the final tally. Myles Garrett also helped the cause with 22.50 points by getting three sacks (3 Sack, 4 Tack). The Dawg Pound played two starters with zero points while Chargers served up one goose egg, meaning both teams could have scored more points. The 181.50 points represented the highest individual total of the season for The Dawg Pound. The Dawg Pound (3-6, 1,327.50 points) climbs into 10th place, while Chargers (3-6, 1,268.00 points) drops to 12th place.
