Carlisle Knights took a 66.40-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Carlisle Knights goes to 1-1 this season against South Bronx Bombers, avenging a Week 9 close loss (125.00 to 122.42) the last time the teams met. Carlisle Knights, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 120.79 per game average by 33%. To make matters worse, South Bronx Bombers received no points from Anthony Richardson.

There was one player on South Bronx Bombers that missed out on some chances. Despite being targeted seven times, George Pickens could manage just three catches.

In addition to the fantasy victory, Carlisle Knights was savvy enough to choose winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Jauan Jennings was the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 17.

For the winners, several players have been playoff studs, including Ladd McConkey and Puka Nacua. During the playoffs, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 70% and 49%, respectively. Despite the playoff loss, Bucky Irving was playing well in the postseason for South Bronx Bombers. During that stretch, he has averaged 20.60 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 51%. Conversely, the losers had a player who fell flat on the biggest stage. Averaging 10.36 points on the season, George Pickens tallied 4.00 per game in the playoffs.
