      Week 8 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Winnies Buries Carlisle Knights, Moves Up to 6th Place

Winnies recorded the fourth-highest score of the season to stomp Carlisle Knights 157.68 to 97.10. Carlisle Knights has lost their third straight matchup. Winnies, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 107.49 per game average by 47%. Winnies (4-4, 859.92 points) climbs into sixth place and Carlisle Knights (4-4, 855.30 points) drops to seventh place.

J.K. Dobbins had plenty of chances for Winnies, but he logged just 68 total yards on 21 touches.

It wasn't all bad news for Carlisle Knights, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Jake Ferguson suited up for an NFL team that won in Week 8. While Kyler Murray led Winnies with 20.20 points last week, Lamb paced the squad this week with 39.60. Also, with 17 targets this week for CeeDee Lamb, it means that his targets have now increased in four consecutive games.

Winnies matches up against top-ranked Stampeders (6-2, 1,170.06) next week. Carlisle Knights takes on South Bronx Bombers (6-2, 1,002.40).
