      Around The League
      • Mamba played their cards right this week with the league's top-scoring RB (Barkley with 32.90 points) and the top-scoring WR (Smith-Njigba with 37.00).
      • No surprise here: teams have won 66.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (4-2 overall).
      • South Bronx Bombers is on a four-game winning streak.
      • Mamba is on a three-game winning streak.
      • Unfortunately, Prognostradamus fell short of their projected score for the third straight week.
      • Matthew probably wishes they had started Garrett Wilson. The 30.00 points he scored would have represented the fourth-highest individual score this week.
      • Teams that started a top-5 scoring RB went 2-2 overall this week.
      • Teams have won only 37.5% of the time this season (6-10) when they fail to throw a Pass TD.

      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

South Bronx Bombers Wins Comeback Nailbiter over Carlisle Knights, Streak Now at Four

Down 12.62 on Sunday night, South Bronx Bombers came back, sneaking by Carlisle Knights 125.00 to 122.42. South Bronx Bombers picked up 29.90 points from Jalen Hurts (230 Pas Yds, 67 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) and 22.10 from Davante Adams (91 Rec Yds, 1 TD). This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands three times, with the largest lead being 22.10 points after Thursday. Carlisle Knights can't find any answers, losing their last four matchups. On the other hand, South Bronx Bombers has had much better fortune after winning their fourth straight. Carlisle Knights got zero points from Brian Robinson, which might have made the difference in the outcome. South Bronx Bombers (7-2, 1,127.40 points) remains in second place and Carlisle Knights (4-5, 977.72 points) stays in seventh place.

Aaron Jones had plenty of chances for South Bronx Bombers, but he logged just 82 total yards on 25 touches.

It wasn't all bad news for Carlisle Knights, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Jake Ferguson suited up on a victorious NFL team this past week. Hurts has now led South Bronx Bombers in scoring for three consecutive weeks.

In Week 10, South Bronx Bombers will match up against Mamba (4-5, 1,080.60). Carlisle Knights plays Stampeders (7-2, 1,286.42), who sits in first place.
