Gang Gold Green Picks Up Victory over Leif, Climbs into 1st Place
Gang Gold Green (10-3, 1,527.10 points) recorded the highest point total this week, defeating Leif (7-6, 1,654.62 points) 135.32 to 103.54 in a back-and-forth struggle. Gang Gold Green came into the Sunday games already in front 30.40 to 10.40. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 2.34. However, following the late Sunday games, Gang Gold Green regained the lead for good with the help of 17.62 points from Jalen Hurts. With this win, Gang Gold Green clinches a playoff berth.
There was one starter on Leif that missed out on opportunities. Even though Brian Thomas Jr. saw a total of 10 targets, he reeled in just four catches.
While Jalen Hurts led Gang Gold Green in Week 10 (with 29.68 points) and De'Von Achane in Week 11 (20.50 points), Achane has now been the team's leading scorer in three of the last five matches.
