Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition
TitanicUpset Picks Up Victory over Leif, Drops Them into 4th Place
TitanicUpset recorded the second-highest score this week and beat Leif 145.68 to 124.24. TitanicUpset took a 22.40-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Even though these teams are tied for sixth place with matching 5-4 records, Leif has a solid lead in points, 1,181.56 to 973.50. Each side met their expectations, but TitanicUpset scored 36.1% more points than projected (107.03) to earn the win. Chuba Hubbard (acquired via free agency in Week 3) and Kirk Cousins (acquired via free agency in Week 3) made a big impact, posting 21.20 and 17.78 points, respectively.
TitanicUpset was ahead of the curve with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall WRs this week (including Wilson, who was in the top five). While George Pickens led TitanicUpset in Week 7 (with 22.10 points) and Aaron Rodgers matches (17.32 points), Wilson has now been the team's leading point-getter in three of the last five weeks.
