Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition
Leif Steals One from Evan and Remains Unbeaten in Head-to-Head Play

Leif beat Evan 137.98 to 118.06 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 9-8, while Evan drops to 10-7. Joe Burrow passed for 412 yards and was the winning factor this week, putting up 36.98 points. Burrow has turned out to be a solid sixth-round grab for Leif and has played like a top-tier quarterback. The gap could have been wider as Leif had a starter score zero points (Cade Otton).
Evan had one starter that missed out on opportunities. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.
For the winners, a few players have been heating up in the postseason, most notably DeVonta Smith and Burrow. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 82% and 37%, respectively. Conversely, Leif has several players moving in the wrong direction. Otton and Joe Mixon have both fallen significantly short of their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, Evan had a pair of players performing their best in the playoffs: Ladd McConkey and Mike Gesicki. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 22.05 and 11.00 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 70% and 53%. On the other hand, the losers had several players who struggled in the playoff spotlight, including Chris Boswell and Brian Robinson.
