Guatemala City Tamales Gets Win over City Of Champions, Makes the Semifinals
Guatemala City Tamales beat City Of Champions 138.12 to 110.84 and got the second-highest score this week. Guatemala City Tamales got the best of City Of Champions again in the playoffs. In the teams' previous postseason tilt, Guatemala City Tamales reigned supreme in the consolation opening round in 2023. City Of Champions was led by the Cincinnati Bengals DEF with 28.00 points (27 PA, 1 TD, 1 Sack, 4 Int, 2 Fum) and A.J. Brown, who scored 21.00 (110 Rec Yds, 1 TD). With Cooper Kupp delivering zero points for Guatemala City Tamales, the result might have been even worse.
There was one starter on City Of Champions that let some chances slip through his hands. Even though Courtland Sutton saw a total of nine targets, he reeled in just three catches. One spot where City Of Champions really made a regrettable decision is QB. Jared Goff could have started in place of Tua Tagovailoa, and that point difference would've been enough to change the outcome.
For the winners, a pair of players have been peaking at the right time: Pat Freiermuth and Rico Dowdle. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 53% and 33%, respectively.
