Guatemala City Tamales Picks Up Win Against New Orleans VooDoo for 3rd Straight Win
Guatemala City Tamales (4-2, 651.06 points) defeated New Orleans VooDoo (2-4, 626.40 points) 114.22 to 92.60. They were led by Jordan Love with 24.62 points off of four passing touchdowns. Guatemala City Tamales scored first and went into Sunday leading 16.90 to 0.00. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 11.88. Guatemala City Tamales regained the lead during Sunday's late afternoon games, thanks to 16.40 points from Drake London. They would hold the lead until the end.
On New Orleans VooDoo, Travis Etienne was one of two total league starters to tally a negative score (and the only running back to do so ). In addition, Guatemala City Tamales had a notable starter that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Rashid Shaheed could only reel in a single catch, despite seeing a total of seven targets.
