Guatemala City Tamales Scrapes By Old England Patriots for 3rd in a Row

This week's second- and third-highest-scoring teams met in a shootout as Guatemala City Tamales snipped Old England Patriots 148.14 to 142.88. This is the first time this season a team has scored this many points and not picked up the win. The loss drops Old England Patriots to 6-5 (4th place) and extends their losing streak to three. Guatemala City Tamales (8-3) is in third place, averaging 110.71 points per game. With the victory, Guatemala City Tamales clinches a playoff berth this week. The total number of points from Guatemala City Tamales was unexpected given that they were only expected to score 106.32 points. Old England Patriots scored 121.7% of their projected 117.44. Amon-Ra St. Brown (161 Rec Yds, 2 TD) put up 33.20 points and Cooper Kupp (106 Rec Yds, 2 TD) scored 25.60 points, exceeding their projections by 168.6% and 103.2%, respectively.
