      Around The League
      • Gerardo and Enigmatic Asylum both won this week, even though neither had a top-15 scoring QB.
      • Free Agent Jaire Alexander would have single-handedly defeated The Goat this week (110.00 to 71.06).
      • Enigmatic Asylum probably wishes they had started Jayden Reed. The 33.10 points he scored would have represented the third-highest individual score this week.
      • First-round draft picks averaged 13.75 points this week, but actually underperformed when compared to their second-round counterparts (who averaged 16.08).
      • Enigmatic Asylum was projected to win by the widest margin in the league this week (18.41 points) and they topped it with a 66.62-point victory.
      • The 155.74 points scored by SHAGUAR represented the highest total in the league this week.
      • Projected winners went 4-1 overall this week.

      Week 1 Recap: Tuesday Edition

SHAGUAR Picks Up Win Against The Firefly Off-Fielders

With the duo of Joe Mixon and A.J. Brown leading the way, SHAGUAR defeated The Firefly Off-Fielders 155.74 to 116.18. That tandem joined forces to score 49.70 points, clearly outpacing the Chicago Bears DEF and Brandon Aubrey (41.00 combined points), the top two on The Firefly Off-Fielders. Mixon rushed for 159 yards, adding 26.80 points (159 Rsh Yds, 1 TD). Brown also helped out with 22.90 points (119 Rec Yds, 1 TD) for the winners. SHAGUAR took a 37.04-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. The Firefly Off-Fielders third-round draft pick Drake London would have been better off on the bench, getting 3.50 points this week. SHAGUAR starts the campaign in first place, while The Firefly Off-Fielders starts out in sixth place.

Taylor had plenty of opportunities for The Firefly Off-Fielders, but could only manage 48 total yards on 16 touches.

In addition to the fantasy victory, SHAGUAR was savvy enough to pick winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Justin Tucker was the only one that played on a losing NFL team this past week.

SHAGUAR squares off against Gerardo (1-0, 92.96) next week, while The Firefly Off-Fielders faces Centurions UK (1-0, 125.92).
