      Week 12 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Jaylen Comes Back to Beat SHAGUAR in Shootout Between Top Two Scoring Teams

This week's two highest-scoring teams met in an epic battle as Jaylen came back and took down SHAGUAR 164.72 to 137.46. This is the fourth-most a team has scored this season without getting the victory. SHAGUAR falls to 7-5 but stays in fourth place. Jaylen (8-4) is in third place, averaging 125.28 points per game. The scoring output from Jaylen was unexpected given that they were only expected to score 114.47 points. SHAGUAR scored 112.6% of their projected 122.04. Saquon Barkley (255 Rsh Yds, 47 Rec Yds, 2 TD) amassed 46.20 points and Tony Pollard (119 Rsh Yds, 1 TD) scored 21.90 points, exceeding their projections by 158.7% and 60.9%, respectively. Patrick Mahomes (269 Pas Yds, 60 Rsh Yds, 3 TD) put up 28.76 points to score 62.0% more than projected (17.75) for SHAGUAR. Although emerging victorious this time, Jaylen has been on the losing end of a similar high-scoring matchup once before, suffering a tough loss against Gerardo in Week 4, 151.08 to 144.68.

Mixon had plenty of opportunities for SHAGUAR, but could only manage 45 total yards on 19 touches.

Barkley has now led Jaylen in scoring in back-to-back weeks, and for three of the last four. It wasn't all bad news for SHAGUAR, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Joe Mixon suited up on an NFL team that won this week.

Next week, Jaylen battles Gerardo (8-4, 1,520.46), who puts up an impressive 126.70 points per game. SHAGUAR takes on Enigmatic Asylum (3-9, 1,210.30), who sits in last place.
