Puget Sound Salamanders Beats Clinton, Notches 5th in a Row

Jahmyr Gibbs scored two touchdowns (28.40 points) and Trey McBride added 17.70 points as Puget Sound Salamanders beat Clinton 122.26 to 113.04. With the win, Puget Sound Salamanders secures a spot in the playoffs. Puget Sound Salamanders gets revenge for a Week 6 loss (126.10 to 118.82) and improves to 1-1 this season against Clinton. Puget Sound Salamanders (9-6, 1,814.10 points) climbs into third place and Clinton (8-7, 1,742.08 points) stays in fifth place.

On Clinton, Tua Tagovailoa was one of five total league starters to post fewer than five points (and the only quarterback to do so ). Pollard had plenty of opportunities for Clinton, but posted just 45 total yards on 17 touches.

Gibbs has now led Puget Sound Salamanders in scoring in consecutive weeks.
