Week 6 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Clinton Gets Victory Against Puget Sound Salamanders, Drops Them into 5th Place

Clinton (5-1, 726.10 points) beat Puget Sound Salamanders (3-3, 768.14 points) 126.10 to 118.82, led by Brock Purdy and his three passing touchdowns (255 Pas Yds, 3 TD) with 24.10 points as well as Deebo Samuel Sr. (102 Rec Yds, 1 TD), who scored 20.70. Heading into Sunday, Clinton was out in front 44.80 to 7.80. That advantage slipped away after the early Sunday games and they trailed by 11.62. Clinton reclaimed the lead during Sunday's late afternoon games with the help of 16.10 points from Brock Bowers. They would maintain the lead for the remainder of the matchup.

On Clinton, Travis Etienne represented one of two total starters in the league to post a negative score (and the only RB in the negatives). In addition, Puget Sound Salamanders had an important player who wasn't fully in tune with his QB. Even though DK Metcalf saw a total of 11 targets, he only reeled in three catches.

With Purdy leading the way in Week 6, it means Clinton continues to have a different top scorer every week this season. Also, with 14 targets this week for CeeDee Lamb, it means that his targets have now increased in three consecutive games.

In Week 7, Clinton faces Stone Poney (3-3, 768.50), who puts up a strong 128.08 points per game. Puget Sound Salamanders gets PollonioFC (3-3, 729.52).
