Adirondacks Waffles Beats Clinton to Get to Consolation Championship
Adirondacks Waffles beat Clinton 186.92 to 164.24 and registered the highest score this season. Adirondacks Waffles took a 13.80-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. Adirondacks Waffles gets revenge for a Week 9 tight loss (98.18 to 96.36) and improves to 1-1 this season against Clinton. Adirondacks Waffles, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 115.07 per game average by 62%.
It wasn't all bad news for Clinton, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except the Philadelphia Eagles DEF took part in a winning effort this week.
For the winning side, several players have been getting hot at the right time, most notably Jonathan Taylor and Jayden Daniels. Over the past four games, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 62% and 42%, respectively. Conversely, Adirondacks Waffles has a player trending the opposite way. D'Andre Swift has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average recently. Despite the loss, Clinton also had two players peaking for the postseason: Anthony Richardson and Tee Higgins.
